Abstract
The rapid evolution of blockchain technology is fundamentally transforming the structure, governance, and economic dynamics of creative industries by enabling decentralized ownership, transparent digital transactions, and intelligent value distribution mechanisms. Traditional creative ecosystems are increasingly challenged by issues related to copyright infringement, centralized platform dominance, revenue inequity, lack of transparency, and inefficient intellectual property management. In response to these limitations, this study proposes the concept of Decentralized Creative Intelligence (DCI) as an emerging interdisciplinary framework integrating blockchain technology, smart contracts, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), decentralized autonomous governance, and AI-enabled digital asset management within creative industry ecosystems. The primary objective of this research is to systematically examine the current state of blockchain adoption in creative industries while identifying critical technological, managerial, and governance-related research opportunities that can shape the future of decentralized creative economies. This study employs a comprehensive systematic literature review and conceptual synthesis approach based on recent developments in blockchain-enabled creative ecosystems, digital rights management, decentralized finance (DeFi), Web3 architectures, and intelligent creator monetization models. The analysis integrates perspectives from information systems, digital innovation, creative economy theory, and platform governance to develop a multidimensional conceptual framework for decentralized creative intelligence. The proposed framework explores how blockchain infrastructures facilitate secure digital ownership verification, transparent royalty distribution, automated licensing through smart contracts, and creator-centric governance mechanisms capable of reducing dependency on centralized intermediaries.
